From the experience gained in over 50 years of history, a completely renewed RIBO is born: we are proud to present the new updated catalogue!
New graphics, new layout, new products, new applications, new names: RIBO has gathered all its know-how to study in detail a completely renewed catalogue, making it easy to consult according to the sector of your company.
In this article, we will show you how to consult the new RIBO catalogue, according to your needs, and all the news it contains.
The structure of the new catalogue
After careful evaluations and consultations, we decided to divide RIBO’s products into sectors, to further facilitate consultation of the catalogue and the search for the right vacuum cleaner for your needs. In fact, for each reference sector in which RIBO operates, we have defined a line of products, further subdividing them into Dry, Wet & Dry, AIR and Longopac.
In this way, the customer can search the index for the sector in which operates and discover the entire range of RIBO vacuum cleaners suitable for his needs. This leads to a more streamlined navigation and, above all, highlights the various industrial vacuum cleaners that are suitable for the specific application.
The sectors
We identified up to 9 sectors:
- CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY: here we gathered all our industrial vacuum cleaners that are ideal for the heaviest applications, such as on construction sites, where large amounts of dust (toxic and non) are handled, as well as when treating surfaces and floors, where sanders or shot peening machines are used. These vacuum cleaners are also perfect for servicing boilers, heat generators, and shooting ranges.
- HEAVY INDUSTRY: the industrial vacuum cleaners gathered under this sector are perfect for steelworks, iron and steel industries, cement plants, sandblasting rooms, quarries, and glass factories. In general, they are ideal for any activities that require vacuuming mounds and large amounts of material in a short amount of time.
- ON-BOARD MACHINERY: this particular range is designed specifically for manufacturers of machinery that integrates vacuum cleaners in the electromechanics, such as in power tools, grinders, machine tools, milling machines, and CNC machines. These vacuum cleaners are also perfect for the PCB and 3D printer additive industries as solutions on board the machinery.
- PACKAGING INDUSTRY: for this sector, RIBO designed a wide range of vacuum cleaners that are ideal for packaging scraps in the paper and packaging industry, and for fabric scraps in the textile industry, like woollen mills, knitwear factories, and sewing factories. These vacuum cleaners also lend themselves for use in leather factories to vacuum production residue.
- GENERAL CLEANING: under this sector, we gathered our industrial vacuum cleaners perfect for hotels, cleaning companies, commercial establishments, restaurants, diners, and delicatessens. They are also ideal for multiplex cinemas, car washes, body shops, car workshops, parking garages, trade show furnishing and display stand installers.
- MECHANIC WORKSHOPS: under this category, there are all the industrial vacuum cleaners for the tool machine industry, such as milling machines and mitre saws, and for metal component processing.
- FOOD INDUSTRY: this range of vacuum cleaners is developed specifically for the coffee roasting and confectionary industries, pasta factories, seed factories, animal feed factories and, in general, farms. They are also ideal for herbalist shops and flower, plant, cannabis, and tobacco producers.
- CHEMICAL PHARMACEUTICAL: this sector includes industrial vacuum cleaners for the chemical-pharmaceutical industry, the polymer industry, and dye-works.
- HIGH TEMPERATURE: the last range includes industrial vacuum cleaners for bakeries, industrial ovens, and supermarket chains, perfect to vacuum incandescent materials.
The nomenclature
Even the names of the products have changed: we made this choice in order to enclose in the name all the key information of the vacuum cleaner itself. For example, the vacuum cleaner named EDILIZIA-T 2.2 80-D consists of 5 elements:
- EDILIZIA: this part of the name indicates the configuration, i.e. the family of the vacuum cleaner and therefore the sector in which it operates;
- T: this part indicates the type of motor, where T stands for Three-Phase, M stands for Single-Phase and AIR indicates pneumatic vacuum cleaners without electric motor, with Venturi units, powered by compressed air;
- 2: this number indicates the motor power in Kw;
- 80: this other number indicates the capacity of the collection container in liters;
- -D: finally, the last part of the name indicates the application, where D stands for solid, dry materials and dust, WD stands for liquids and chips also mixed with oil, SF stands for scraps and HT stands for dust and materials generally at high temperatures.
