The RIBO COMPAIR suction units are characterised by the complete absence of electrical or electromechanical components and moving parts. The suction is generated by a flow of compressed air which, when conveyed through a suitably sized duct, creates a powerful Venturi effect.

They are ideal to be used in particularly difficult or dangerous environmental conditions, on construction sites or in rooms where electrical power is prohibited or not available.

They can be used both as mobile suction and filtering units with containers of various sizes, and as fixed units for centralised vacuum systems and pneumatic conveyors (also with loading hopper).

The COMPAIR Line suctions materials such as chips, even abrasive and sharp ones; dust and solid materials in general, and liquids and emulsions. It is particularly suitable for:

  • power stations, for maintenance and cleaning of power transformers, switchboards and power lines.
  • Inside nuclear power stations or in places where the use of machines powered by electricity is prohibited, in environments where metal masses are present.
  • For the removal of flammable materials in and around oil refineries, hydrocarbon processing and storage facilities, extraction wells, tanks, filling stations and on board of vessels.
  • For outdoor installations.
  • In environments where particular attention to noise pollution and noise level is paid.

The vacuum cleaners of the COMPAIR line are available in the following series:

  • SERIE 281/200: for dust and dry solid materials
  • SERIE 281/210: for liquid and dust extraction (with filter change)
  • SERIE 281/179 – 281/250 – 551/179 – 551/250: for liquids and swarf mixed with oil (machine tool and workshop cleaning)
  • SERIE 281/199 – 551/199: for dust and dry solid materials
  • SERIE 551/220: for dust and solid materials, production plant cleaning and open surfaces

All models are available in stainless steel, with multi-stage filtering system for high-efficiency collection of fine dust, including toxic and/or harmful dust (FAS), and in compliance with the ATEX directive, in Group II, Category 2G/D for use in areas classified 1.21 and 2.22.
