What sets RIBO vacuum cleaners apart from the competition

“Why buy a RIBO vacuum and not just any other brand?” To answer this question, we wrote this article in which we explain in detail what distinguishes RIBO vacuum cleaners from all others on the market.

Home-made: the beginnings

From the very first years of RIBO’s life, the founder thought about how to fully customize his brand. And he did so by manufacturing his own cast aluminum suction heads in-house. Together with his team of engineers, he developed an original project using wooden molds into which liquid aluminum was poured to shape the blower. Once solidified, this first semi-finished product was subjected to further processing to create those grooves typical of RIBO’s suction heads.

Even now, RIBO still manufactures its suction heads in-house: over the years, the process has evolved and improved, but still follows the guidelines of our founder. We have replaced the wooden molds with CNC machines, which help to make these semi-finished products more precise, further improving the performance of the vacuum cleaner. RIBO’s suction heads are unique in the world and it is these that give RIBO industrial vacuum cleaners their typical strength and reliability.

Strong and indestructible

RIBO was born with a very precise idea: to create robust, solid and durable products, even for occasional use. Although the laws of the market have changed radically and now impose different conditions, RIBO still produces superior quality industrial vacuum cleaners that challenge the products born in the era of planned obsolescence. As a matter of facts, even today we receive calls from customers asking us to repair a RIBO vacuum cleaner that has been in operation for more than 30 years. That’s the secret of RIBO industrial vacuum cleaners: strive for quality that is not just good, but excellent.

Every single component is designed exclusively for RIBO industrial vacuum cleaners: from cast aluminum components such as the suction head, the lids of the /CR configuration and the single-phase vacuum cleaners, to the trolleys, the suction nozzles and the reinforced wheels. The tipping body, for example, is able to collect material with a very high specific weight thanks to the special reinforced structure designed by RIBO, which makes it by far the strongest on the market.

Even the powder coating contributes to the typical robustness of RIBO vacuum cleaners. This special technique protects the aesthetics of the vacuum cleaner from scratches and tears. The thin, glossy coatings of other industrial vacuum cleaners on the market are more delicate and do not help protect the vacuum cleaner from abrasion.

Plastic-free

RIBO is proud not to use any plastic components in its industrial vacuum cleaners. In addition to environmental reasons, we do not use plastic components because this would drastically lower the quality of our products. Even in single-phase vacuum cleaners, which are not intended for continuous use, we prefer to use only metal components, in order to guarantee a long life. The thickness of the sheet steel from which the various components are made also contributes to the high performance and long life of RIBO industrial vacuum cleaners.
